Happy New Year

2009, what a year! My cousin Liam and I were born! We wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. We went downtown today to celebrate at the Children's museum. RJ liked playing with the trains and other exhibits. I liked watching all the kids. We did a countdown at noon and then screamed, "Happy New Year!" It was really loud. Then RJ got a cookie and some prizes and we went to see the Winter Wodterland Coleman Collection again. We saw all the lights, trains, and of course RJ's favorite, the sleeping Santa. What a great way to end the year.

A Quick Visit to Jersey

We had a wonderful time visiting our families this week. It was a quick visit, but a lot of fun. I had a great time dancing with Uncle Mike and Coach. We slept over Nana's house Tuesday night and then went to Mom Mom's in the morning. I saw Uncle Chris again, he is great at drawing! We also had many visitors throughout the day, thank you for coming to see my sister and I! I am so glad I saw all of my cousins too, Ava, Reese, Josh and Jason really tired me out with all of that playing.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I put up quite a fight going to sleep last night and was up bright and early today to see if Santa came. He did!!! My sister and I opened our stockings upstairs in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Then we came downstairs and did some damage under the tree. I have been playing non-stop all morning, I did not even ask to watch a show! Thank you so much everyone and to Santa of course. We miss and love you very much.

Coleman Collection

Last night, Mommy, Lucy, Miss Abigail, Colin and I went downtown to look at the lights. We went to the Winter Wonderland Coleman Collection at the old courthouse. It was fantastic! They had so many pretty lights. They also had a train, pretend animals that moved, elves, and even a sleeping Santa! Lucy loved looking at everything, it was a lot of fun!

Lunch

Today we enjoyed lunch at Miss Jessica's house. I had a great time seeing all of my friends, I have not seen them in awhile! My brother loved eating cookies and playing with the dog. Mommy took a picture of him on the car ride home. With the Santa hat on, he seemed to remind her of someone else pouting in the car with a hat on!

Back in Virginia

Well, we had a great time in Jersey but it is time for some holiday fun in Virginia. We did great with the ride back again and last night Mommy and Daddy took us to a parade downtown. They had carolers, fire pits to roast marshmallows, bands and even a merry go round! I even saw Santa at the end of the parade. Daddy's hospital looks cool too, there is a big star on top of it! Santa is almost coming, I can't wait!

Grand Illumination Parade

Last night, we took the ferry over to Norfolk to see the Grand Illumination Parade. I loved seeing the decorated boats and watching the parade from Daddy's shoulders. We went with a bunch of friends and had a great time! I liked the bands that played the music and the horses the best. Lucy had fun too! We can't wait to see everyone soon!

4 months Old

I had my 4 month check-up this week and Daddy was able to come again! I was a whopping 11 pounds 4 ounces. However, my height was off the charts, 27 inches! Where did I come from you ask? My parents have no clue. They were not concerned about my weight since I am gaining consistently each day. I did well with all of my other social, gross and fine motor skills. My brother and I can't wait to see you all next week!

First Cereal

Mommy and Daddy gave me my first taste of cereal tonight! I really liked it and finished the whole bowl. We also survived the storm. We lost power from 7 last night until 2 this afternoon. The wind and rain were crazy! We can't wait to see you soon! Love you!

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese's today. I had so much fun riding all the rides and playing the games. I liked the skee ball a lot too. Lucy loved looking at all of the lights. I decided to dance every time Chuck E. Cheese came out to sing. I did really well up until we had to leave. Then I threw the biggest fit ever. Let's just say Mommy was not too happy. I promised I would be good next time. Mommy is relaxing right now with a nice cup of coffee while I nap, I think she deserves it today!

Beautiful Day at the Park

Today we went to Chesapeake City Park and played in the Fun Forest with Colin and Joal. It was such a pretty day, 76 degrees! Lucy and I also enjoyed lunch outside in the sunshine. Colin and I dug for dinosaur bones in the sand. Mommy thought I was pretty funny playing on this one piece of wooden equipment. It had all these twists and turns and the only way down was to go back the way you came or go down the slide. I was not into the slide and I could not figure out how to get down. But, of course, I did not want anyone to know. Another mommy commented on how much I enjoyed this little maze, little did she know I had no clue what I was doing! Mommy had to finally come up with Lucy to help out. Oh and I had another funny story, not related to the park, to share. Daddy was taking me up to bed the other night. As we were going up the stairs, I was saying goodnight to everyone. When I got to Lucy, I said, "Goodnight Lucy!" Then in a squeaky little voice I imitated her, "Goodnight RJ." This is what Mommy does for me every night, but I thought I'd take it upon myself. Very funny, Mommy and Daddy had a good laugh with that one!

Christmas Comes Early this Year

We are coming to visit in a couple of weeks, so Mommy and Daddy wanted to get out our Christmas decorations so we would be able to enjoy them. I had so much fun reading all of my Christmas books, hanging ornaments on the tree, playing trains with Daddy and helping Daddy hang the lights! Lucy loved watching the lights on the tree. We can't wait to see you all soon!

TV Time

This is how my brother and I like to watch tv. Mommy tries to face me away from it, but I know how to make it work!

We went to Colin and Joel's house today. RJ and Colin made turkey cookies and I played with Joel on the carpet. We had a lot of fun! Thanks again Miss Abigail!

Halloween

Happy Halloween! Well I guess I really didn't want to miss Halloween because my fever went away! I had so much fun today. I woke up and Lucy and I got cool Halloween prizes! Then I had pumpkin pancakes, however, because I woke up at 4:45 today, I got a little tired eating them. Daddy took me to the movie store and I picked out Monsters Inc. to watch this afternoon. I hope you like the pictures of me trick or treating. Nana, can you tell I am doing my little shake when I get excited in the one picture? Lucy had a fun day too, you can tell by all of her smiles.

Jersey Visit

We are back from our Jersey visit and Mommy survived the car ride! Lucy and I were very good both ways. We had so much fun this week. On Monday night, we had dinner at Nana's and Nan and Pop Pop came over to visit. We also took a nice walk with Coach. Tuesday morning we went apple picking, I actually got knocked in the head by a goat! That night we went to see Where the Wild Things Are with Nana. I loved it, though Mommy and Nana thought it was pretty weird. Wednesday we had dinner at Robert's, I loved my ice cream and playing with Lavia. Thursday we had lunch with Becca, yummy pizza! On Friday, we hung out with cousin Liam, Aunt Jacki and Aunt Kate during the day. I liked playing ball with Aunt Jacki and Aunt Kate took me to see the bunny. Pop Pop also took me over to see the bunny and to ride on the horses at the park. I am going to miss laying in bed every morning with Mom Mom watching my shows. Uncle Mike came home to see me on Friday night. We had Halloween/Nana's Birthday dinner at Nan's house. Aunt Kyle read all of my new Halloween books to me, they were spooky! Well, needless to say, Lucy and I are exhausted. It is nice to be home again with Daddy. We can't wait to see you all again soon. Thank you so much everyone and sorry to those of you we did not get to see. We will be up longer for Thanksgiving.

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday Ava!!

Pumpkin Carving Playdate

Today, we were supposed to go pumpkin picking, however, the weather did not cooperate very much. Thankfully, another Miss Heidi invited us over to her house for some yummy food and pumpkin carving. Daddy was even able to come this time! He helped me carve my pumpkin, doesn't it look great? I also drove a powered car for the first time, you should have seen me go! Lucy is well, eating like a little monster. We are so excited to see everyone!
