Grand Illumination Parade

Last night, we took the ferry over to Norfolk to see the Grand Illumination Parade. I loved seeing the decorated boats and watching the parade from Daddy's shoulders. We went with a bunch of friends and had a great time! I liked the bands that played the music and the horses the best. Lucy had fun too! We can't wait to see everyone soon!

4 months Old

I had my 4 month check-up this week and Daddy was able to come again! I was a whopping 11 pounds 4 ounces. However, my height was off the charts, 27 inches! Where did I come from you ask? My parents have no clue. They were not concerned about my weight since I am gaining consistently each day. I did well with all of my other social, gross and fine motor skills. My brother and I can't wait to see you all next week!

First Cereal

Mommy and Daddy gave me my first taste of cereal tonight! I really liked it and finished the whole bowl. We also survived the storm. We lost power from 7 last night until 2 this afternoon. The wind and rain were crazy! We can't wait to see you soon! Love you!

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese's today. I had so much fun riding all the rides and playing the games. I liked the skee ball a lot too. Lucy loved looking at all of the lights. I decided to dance every time Chuck E. Cheese came out to sing. I did really well up until we had to leave. Then I threw the biggest fit ever. Let's just say Mommy was not too happy. I promised I would be good next time. Mommy is relaxing right now with a nice cup of coffee while I nap, I think she deserves it today!

Beautiful Day at the Park

Today we went to Chesapeake City Park and played in the Fun Forest with Colin and Joal. It was such a pretty day, 76 degrees! Lucy and I also enjoyed lunch outside in the sunshine. Colin and I dug for dinosaur bones in the sand. Mommy thought I was pretty funny playing on this one piece of wooden equipment. It had all these twists and turns and the only way down was to go back the way you came or go down the slide. I was not into the slide and I could not figure out how to get down. But, of course, I did not want anyone to know. Another mommy commented on how much I enjoyed this little maze, little did she know I had no clue what I was doing! Mommy had to finally come up with Lucy to help out. Oh and I had another funny story, not related to the park, to share. Daddy was taking me up to bed the other night. As we were going up the stairs, I was saying goodnight to everyone. When I got to Lucy, I said, "Goodnight Lucy!" Then in a squeaky little voice I imitated her, "Goodnight RJ." This is what Mommy does for me every night, but I thought I'd take it upon myself. Very funny, Mommy and Daddy had a good laugh with that one!

Christmas Comes Early this Year

We are coming to visit in a couple of weeks, so Mommy and Daddy wanted to get out our Christmas decorations so we would be able to enjoy them. I had so much fun reading all of my Christmas books, hanging ornaments on the tree, playing trains with Daddy and helping Daddy hang the lights! Lucy loved watching the lights on the tree. We can't wait to see you all soon!

TV Time

This is how my brother and I like to watch tv. Mommy tries to face me away from it, but I know how to make it work!

Phillies Phever and Turkey Playdates

Well, Mommy and Daddy tried me in my jumparoo this weekend. I look a little freaked out huh? I also wanted to show you my Phillies Spirit! This ones for you Nana! We went to Colin and Joel's house today. RJ and Colin made turkey cookies and I played with Joel on the carpet. We had a lot of fun! Thanks again Miss Abigail!
