A Christmas to Remember

Well, after I got sick, Lucy soon came down with it too. Not too long after, Mommy was sick as well. It was a long night. Daddy took care of everyone as he always does. Daddy did "Christmas" with us that morning and I was excited to see all of my presents. Mommy also went to the hospital that day because she was having some contractions and was really dehydrated. Everything was fine though and we are all recovering from a very long, very yucky weekend.
Sorry we don't have more pictures to share but even with cleaning up vomit and trying to celebrate the holiday, Daddy was still able to get some. We love you Daddy!

A Postponed Christmas

Well, yesterday was no fun. I was sick all day and night, so Mommy and Daddy decided to postpone Christmas a day. I am starting to feel a little better. We had green pancakes today, built gingerbread houses, and helped Daddy gather firewood outside. We are excited that Santa is coming to our house tonight and we might even have a white Christmas tomorrow!

Holiday Brunch

We had our friends over today for a holiday brunch. Lucy and I ate donuts and cereal and we watched "The Grinch" with Desmond and Ella. It was a lot of fun spending time with friends. We are getting very excited for Christmas. We wish we could be home to celebrate. Happy Birthday Nan, wish we could be there tomorrow for dinner. Love you all!

Gingerbread Houses/Christmas Party

We made pretend Gingerbread Houses today out of old boxes. After I was done decorating, I lined all my men and animals up to go inside. Lucy had fun making hers too but of course needed a snack soon after. We also went to Daddy's Christmas Party this afternoon. I actually sat on Gunny Clause's lap. Lucy did not want anything to do with him as usual. Then, Lucy fell out of her chair while eating, I burnt my mouth on hot chocolate and we were both screaming at the same time. Daddy thought this was great birth control for all of those young marines.

Thanksgiving in New Jersey

Well, we finally made it back from our trip to "Moo Jersey." Yesterday was very eventful to say the least. We bought a dual DVD player for the car and Lucy got carsick and threw up twice in our first hour on the road. She was covered from head to toe. Then the tire pressure light went on, so we decided to head back to Mom Mom's. Daddy was going to fly back to NC and leave us so he could make it back on time. Then we realized he would not be able to come back and get us until after Christmas! We decided to try again and made it back here around nine at night. It was a LONG day. We had a busy time in New Jersey though. First, we had a family football game on Thanksgiving morning. We had Thanksgiving dinner with Aunt Judi and Aunt Ave. On Friday, everyone from the Oldt's side came over to say hello. I liked building a fort with Josh and Jason. That night, we stayed over at Nana and Coach's and the next morning we went to see the light show and Santa in Philadelphia. On Sunday, we went over to see more family at Nana and Coach's. We are very tired today and trying to rest up from all of our fun. It was so nice to see everyone and thank you for all of our gifts as well. We love and miss you already!

Jacksonville Holiday Parade

Well it was RJ's lucky morning, we went to our first parade in NC. He loved it, especially Santa at the end. Lucy liked it to, but really wanted to just walk right in the middle of the parade even when fire trucks were coming down the road. She was more interested in walking around EVERYWHERE. Mommy and Daddy were super lucky too, they got to watch it all over again on tv when they got home.

Fall Afternoon

The weather here has been absolutely beautiful. We went on a nice walk this afternoon and Mommy let me play with the camera. We can't wait to come to New Jersey next week!
