Halloween Block Party

We had such a blast at the Halloween Block Party. We played games. My favorite was the pumpkin bowling. Lucy loved eating a donut from a string. We had a yummy dinner of hotdogs and treats. Then we went trick or treating and later watched "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," outside. It was a super spooky night but we are pretty tired now. We wish we could have come trick or treating back in Jersey too, maybe next year! Love you.

Silly Snacks and Story Time

We went to the community center on base today and made a silly snack. We made cupcake mummies, yum! Then we had story time and danced at the end. We pretended to be sharks, whales, butterflies, and though you can tell by the picture I did not want to do it, they even did ballerinas. (look at the picture with the little boy in the yellow shirt and I, we refused to participate in that portion of the dance)

Halloween Story Time

Today Mommy and Daddy took us to Barnes and Noble for their Halloween Story Time. They read spooky stories, we made a mask and then ate cookies and hot cider. I also picked out the trash truck that I have been dying to get since we moved here. It is big and green. Daddy told me I could get it when I started going to school like a big boy. Mommy and Daddy thought that I forgot all about it, but of course I went right to it and said, "Dad look what I found, can I get this now since I don't cry at school?" How is that for a good memory!?

Pirate Fest

Today we went to Pirate Fest here on base. They had a lot of fun games to play and prizes to win. I even tried to play the Plank Walk game to win a cake but I was not too lucky with that one. It was nice to be out of the house though. Hopefully Mommy will feel better soon, so we can get out and about again. Come on Donk, give her a break!

An Aunt Kyle in Training

Here is my favorite thing to do when my brother is at school. I steal his helmet or "helmik" as he likes to call it and his ball and go to town. Don't ask me why I need the bike helmet, but Mommy sure does get a kick out of it!

Nana, Nan and Pop Pop Came to Visit

We had so much fun this weekend with our special visitors. After being stuck in traffic and driving over 10 hours, Nana, Nan and Pop Pop made it to our house. On Friday, we played with Nana all morning and then went to the playground in the afternoon. For dinner, we went with Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Nan and Pop Pop to a Japanese Steakhouse. They had a real pond inside and more fish to keep us occupied. I liked drinking my Batman cocktail and Lucy liked trying to use chopsticks and of course, eating everyone's food. On Saturday, we went for ice cream and some shopping at the MCX and Commissary. My sister and I were not on our best behavior, however, we both needed a good nap. While we napped, everyone watched Mommy and Daddy's wedding video and then Mommy and Daddy went out to eat. It was fun having Nana, Nan and Pop Pop watch us. Then, we had to say goodbye, but Daddy woke Lucy and I up really early Sunday morning to say goodbye to Nana. It was a great weekend and we cannot wait to see them again soon. Thank you for a wonderful time and all the hugs and kisses. We miss you already.

Go Eagles

We are excited for the game today! We are even more excited that Nana, Nan and Pop Pop will be here on Thursday! RJ also wanted to share that he learned how to ride his big wheel. He loves riding around our big block.
