My First Easter

Wow, what a day! We started with brunch at Mom Mom's house, it was so nice seeing everyone. I loved the weather so much that I fell fast asleep during both egg hunts because we had them outside. The sunshine and warm air just put me to sleep. We went to Nan's house for dinner in the evening and I got more wonderful things for Easter. RJ and Lucy seemed to enjoy themselves all day. It was so nice spending it with family, but I was even happier that Daddy was there. I also smiled for the first time today and Daddy saw it!

Easter Bunny Express

Daddy, we rode on a train today and I loved every minute of it! It poured rain the whole time, but that did not stop us from having fun. Elliot went on her first train ride too. Lucy did not like the Easter Bunny at all. At one point, Mommy and I went to throw something away and Lucy was following not realizing the Easter Bunny was near the trashcan. She never made it over to us because the Easter Bunny started walking towards her and she screamed and ran the other way, it was bad for Lucy but gave us a good laugh. Then he came to visit each of the kids on the train, Lucy again, was not too happy about it. I think she kept her eye out for him the whole time. But, she did enjoy the treats he shared with everyone. I gave the conducter our tickets to be punched too. We went over lots of water, went between really tall rocks and waved to people in their cars. Thank you Nana for taking us, it was so fun I did not want it to end. Daddy, maybe we could go together in the summer time, when they let you put your windows down.

Easter Eggs

We dyed eggs today with Aunt Jacki, Mommy and Mom Mom. Liam and Jack helped too. Good thing Liam threw one because we then realized we were dying the raw eggs not the ones that were hard boiled! It was pretty funny. It was so nice to talk to you today Daddy. We miss you so much and can't wait to see you next week when the Easter Bunny comes. Love you!

Today I went for my first brunch with the ladies. Jack crashed the brunch as well. I promise I did not have too many mimosas though Daddy. Logan met me today too for the first time!

Retirement Party

I was able to meet more family today at Uncle Ed and Aunt Irene's Retirement Party. It was so nice meeting my cousins. RJ and Lucy had a blast playing with them too. You should see my wardrobe now Daddy, Mommy is so jealous. Oh, and can you find Mommy a wine glass like Aunt Irene's for this deployment thing coming up?! Just kidding. Love you.

First Days at Home

Elliot is doing really well Daddy. We are taking good care of her. Of course we get a little jealous here and there, but I think we can keep her. She went to the Dr. for the first time today and did really well. I took some of these pictures all by myself. I hope you like them Daddy! Mommy is very thankful for everyone's help and support. We could not do it with out them.

Jack's Baptism

Today I went to Baby Jack's Christening. I had a lot of questions in church Daddy. I really liked the "sword" they had there, Mommy told me it was a cross, but I still think it was a pretty cool looking sword. Then, they even poured water on Jack's head, what?! It was crazy. We took a walk to the restaurant and I had fun running and climbing on a big stage. I even drank chocolate milk out of a jar! When we were leaving, I made sure to say goodbye to EVERYONE there, I think I even said it to the dishwasher and bartender. Derrick, Aunt Cake and Mommy got a kick out of me falling asleep in the car on the way home. I don't know what the big deal was though.

Jeff's Birthday

We went to Aunt Lisa's house for Jeff's birthday today. Coach and I went for a walk in the woods, found lots of sticks and threw them in the water. Lucy just ran around non-stop as usual. We both loved playing on the piano. We also had a dance party with Jeff in the basement. He really got a kick out of Lucy dancing. Furthermore, I thought it was pretty silly when his candles kept relighting on his cake. They were crazy and I just could not believe it. We miss you so much Daddy that we composed a song for you.
