Memorial Day Parade

Well, I enjoyed yet another parade this year. I took it very seriously when we got there, no messing around.  Lucy was scared of the fire trucks but then warmed up to them by the end.  I got lots of candy and saw some of the jeeps that you ride in.  We miss you Daddy!  Oh, and Elliot slept through it all!

Memorial Day Weekend

We played outside in the pool today and also with the water table.  It was really hot!  The popsickles were really good too.  We miss you so much Daddy, keep up the hard work, we love you for it.  Tell all of the other soldiers we are thinking of them this weekend.

A Trip to the Pet Store

Today, we went to Petsmart, and we even took Logan!  He loved meeting the new dogs and smelling everything.  RJ and Lucy looked at the fish, hamsters, rats, cats, birds and lizards.  I slept the whole time of course, but it sounded like fun.  We chose the pet store because I kind of ruined our plans to do story time.  Let's just say Mommy is super happy that it all came out of Aunt Jacki's swing.  RJ could not believe how much there was, it is all he talked about.  I bet Mommy will be hearing about it for days.  Oh one more thing, RJ and Lucy had "Daddy Cereal" last night for snack.  They said it made them feel like you were here watching their shows before bed.  We love and miss you.

ps RJ is going to watch Uncle Mike dance tonight, I wonder who is going to sit with? hmmmmm

Elliot 2 months

• 9 pounds 12 ounces
• smiling and cooing
• holding head up on tummy
• less cranky at night
• love the morning smiles, especially at RJ and Lucy
• can stand on legs when held
• starting to sleep in own room

Mother's Day Painting at Creamy Acres

Elliot stayed home with Mom Mom today, so Mommy could take Lucy and I to Creamy Acres.  We each painted a rock and then a flower pot for Mom Mom and Nana.  As we let them dry, we went to pet the animals on the farm.  Lucy loved chasing chickens and I made sure all of the baby cows were fed.  After the animals, we went to the playground.  I got a nice lump on my head from falling off of something, Mommy was thrilled.  Finally, we picked out our flowers and planted them in our pots. 

Daddy Dolls

We love them so much!  Look Daddy, now you can watch me play Angry Birds!  You should have seen RJ's face when he got it, priceless.
